5.25" internal card reader for desktop PCs

The EN-Labs U2CR525U3 installs in a standard 5.25 inch bay to add multi-format card reading and writing to a desktop computer or server. It connects to the motherboard through a USB 2.0 header and includes a front-facing USB 3.0 port for additional peripherals. The mesh front panel design integrates with cases that use a similar aesthetic.

Supports cards up to 64 GB across CF, SD, MS, XD.

The reader handles CompactFlash I and II, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC I, MMC II, xD and microSD (TF) formats. Maximum supported capacity is 64 GB per card. Data transfers over the card reader interface run at USB 2.0 480 Mbps speeds, while the front USB 3.0 port operates at up to 5 Gbps for connected USB devices.

Requires both USB 2.0

Full functionality needs a 9 or 10 pin USB 2.0 header for the card reader and a 20 pin USB 3.0 header for the front expansion port. Systems lacking either header cannot use the corresponding feature. The unit is USB powered and includes mounting screws for installation.
