This new ESTONE add-on card adds eight USB 3.2 ports to a desktop computer through a single PCI Express slot. Four ports use the Type-A connector and four use the Type-C connector. The card draws power directly from the slot so no extra power cable is needed. It supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.

Suits builders adding many front-panel ports

The vertical port layout and 4.76 inch card length make it a good fit for standard ATX cases with full-height brackets. It is not suited for slim or low-profile chassis such as 1U or 2U servers where a half-height bracket is required. Buyers who need internal header connections instead of rear-bracket ports should look at a different solution.

Single-lane PCIe 3.0 or 2.0 interface
