Firmware is updated to the latest stable release and the system has passed full burn-in diagnostics before it leaves the facility.

Fit for Virtualization and Database Workloads

Organizations that need immediate capacity for memory-intensive VMs or in-memory databases will find the 256GB starting point expandable to 768GB across the available DIMM slots. Buyers who require more than 768GB of total system memory or who need a chassis with more than eight 2.5-inch drive bays should evaluate alternative platforms because this model is limited to the stated maximums. The integrated P440 SAS controller manages SATA and SAS drives through the eight front-accessible bays.
