The HPE ProLiant DL345 Gen11 is a rack-mount server built around one AMD EPYC 9354P processor with 32 cores at 3.25 GHz and 256 MB L3 cache. It targets workloads that need large-capacity storage and virtualization performance within a single-socket budget.
The unit ships with 256 GB of HPE DDR5 Smart Memory installed as four 64 GB modules at 4800 MT/s, two 1.92 TB NVMe Gen4 SSDs, and dual 800 W hot-plug power supplies. Six standard fans are factory-fitted. Installers only need to rack the 2U chassis and cable the network uplinks; no drive caddies or memory population is required.
The MR416i-p storage controller uses an x16 PCIe Gen5 link with 8 GB cache, while networking occupies two OCP 3.0 adapters: a dual-port 10/25 Gb SFP28 and a quad-port 1 Gb BASE-T. Further add-in cards must fit the remaining Gen5 slots, and total GPU support is limited to four front-mounted units per platform specification.
