The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack server built for hybrid environments that demand a balance of density and expandability. The system includes 1 TB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory across 16 modules and 61.44 TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage in eight 7.68 TB drives. Microsoft Windows Server 2025 Standard is licensed for 16 cores.

Installation requires fitting memory and drives

Hard drives and memory upgrades are supplied separately and must be installed before the server enters production. The 16 DDR5 modules and eight 2.5-inch SATA SSDs need to be seated in their respective slots and bays, which is straightforward in the 1U chassis but does require physical access and care. The bundled rail kit simplifies rack mounting, and the redundant power supply and embedded 4-port 1GbE OCP3 adapter are factory fitted. Remote management via iLO 6 with Intelligent Provisioning assists with initial configuration and ongoing monitoring.

Verify rack space, power and OS fit before ordering

Confirm that a 1U rack aperture is available and that the facility can supply redundant power connections for the dual power supplies. The MR408i-o Gen11 storage controller uses an OCP SPDM slot with x8 lanes and 4 GB cache, so ensure the intended workload matches the SATA SSD performance profile. Windows Server 2025 Standard is included for 16 cores; environments requiring additional core licences or a different hypervisor should plan accordingly.
