LORDWORLD 2.13inch Touch e-Paper HAT 250×122 Pixels development board

SKU CH-1MC2-ETRKP

A 2.13-inch capacitive touch e-Paper HAT with 250×122 pixels, 5-point touch, SPI interface and a 40-pin GPIO header for Raspberry Pi boards

  • 13" capacitive touch e-Paper with 5-point touch and 250×122 pixels
  • Standard 40-pin GPIO header fits Raspberry Pi series boards directly
  • Wake-up by user-defined gesture enables interactive low-power applications
  • No backlight retains last image indefinitely without power draw
  • SPI interface connects to Arduino, STM32 and similar controllers

2.13″ Touch e-Paper HAT for Pi

This LORDWORLD HAT adds a 2.13″ capacitive touch e-Paper display to any Raspberry Pi with a 40PIN GPIO header. The 250×122 pixel panel supports five-point touch and can be woken by a user-defined gesture. It draws power only while refreshing, so the last image remains visible after the supply is removed.

40PIN GPIO header and SPI interface

The board plugs directly onto the Pi’s 40PIN extension header and communicates over SPI, leaving other pins free for additional hardware. Because the display has no backlight it is readable in bright light and consumes negligible energy between updates. Example code and a manual are supplied for rapid prototyping.

250×122 pixel resolution decides fit

The fixed 250×122 pixel grid determines how much text or graphics can be shown at once; applications needing finer detail or larger screen area will require a different panel. Buyers who need higher pixel density or colour reproduction should look elsewhere.

Pitanja o ovom artiklu

What refresh rate does the SPI interface cap the 2.13 inch e-Paper at in practice?

The SPI interface limits updates to a few frames per second, so only static or slow-changing content is practical on this display.

What header and board size does the HAT need to fit a Raspberry Pi?

It uses the standard 40PIN GPIO extension header and matches the 2.13 inch 250×122 pixel outline of the e-Paper panel.

How do you enable the wake-up gesture and what step is often missed?

Solder the optional INT pin to the Pi GPIO, then configure the gesture in the example Python script; skipping the solder link leaves the wake function dead.
