The LORDWORLD HAT combines an M.2 NVMe adapter with a PCM5122 stereo DAC on a single board that connects to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCIe port via a 16-pin cable. It targets makers who want faster storage and high-resolution analog audio for media centres, network audio players or portable recording rigs without stacking multiple HATs.
The board has no active cooling and draws power directly from the Pi, so it adds no fan noise and negligible extra heat in normal use. Dual onboard LEDs give a quick visual cue for SSD activity and audio status without requiring a separate monitoring tool.
Builders currently using a microSD card for the OS and a standalone DAC HAT can consolidate both functions here, gaining Gen2 NVMe boot support and 32-bit 384kHz playback through a 3.5mm jack or RCA pair.
