Registered ECC headroom and limits

The 32 GB density fills one 288-pin slot with dual-rank chips, giving the memory controller twice as many open pages as a single-rank alternative. Workloads that fit inside 32 GB — inference batches, local feature stores, container overhead — run without swapping; larger datasets will still spill to storage because the module itself cannot exceed its fixed capacity.

DDR4 3200 interface constraints

The PC4-25600 interface caps peak bandwidth at the DDR4 3200 data rate, so throughput scales with the server's memory-controller implementation rather than the module alone. Registered buffering adds one cycle of command latency, which the platform firmware accounts for; systems that cannot drive DDR4 3200 will down-clock the module to their highest supported JEDEC speed.
