This 256 GB DDR4 3200 CL22 ECC Load Reduced LRDIMM is built for servers, workstations and NAS systems that require very high memory capacity per slot. It operates at 1.2 V and uses a 288-pin form factor with an 8Rx4 organisation. The module is designed to extend the life of existing infrastructure or to maximise density in new deployments.
The LRDIMM technology and ECC Load Reduced function are specific to enterprise platforms and will not work in standard desktop computers. It also cannot be mixed with unbuffered or registered ECC memory, so buyers who need to combine different module types must look elsewhere. Systems limited to lower maximum capacities per DIMM will not be able to use this part.
The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB capacity delivered in one 288-pin LRDIMM running at PC4-25600 3200 MHz with CL22 latency. If the motherboard or chassis supports this density and speed, the module installs directly; if the platform caps DIMM capacity below 256 GB, the part is incompatible.
