Operating at the JEDEC standard 1.2 V keeps power draw low during typical server workloads. The module has no heat spreader, relying on chassis airflow for cooling. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, contributing to stable operation in multi-DIMM configurations.
Under continuous operation the registered design maintains signal integrity across all 288 pins. Backward compatibility with 2133 MHz and 2400 MHz speeds allows the module to clock down when the platform requires it. ECC functionality continuously corrects single-bit errors, preventing data corruption during extended compute tasks.
