PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics and two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots operate at full speed only with Ryzen 9000 or 7000 series CPUs. Ryzen 8000 series processors limit the primary slot to PCIe 4.0 x8 or x4 and the M.2 slots to PCIe 4.0. Verify your processor generation before ordering to match expected bandwidth. Two SATA 6 Gbps ports and two additional PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots remain unaffected by the CPU choice.
The 80 A SPS power stages, alloy chokes and durable capacitors are built for continuous high-current delivery during long rendering or compute sessions. Massive heatsinks cover the VRM and all four M.2 slots to dissipate heat without relying on extreme airflow. AI Cooling II manages fan curves dynamically to keep temperatures stable over extended workloads rather than short bursts.

Use either of the two PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots (M.2_1 or M.2_2) for the OS drive to get the highest sequential throughput; the PCIe 4.0 slots remain available for secondary storage.
Each of the 16 main Vcore phases can deliver up to 80 amps, giving the 16+2+1 VRM enough current headroom for high-core-count Ryzen 9000 processors under sustained heavy loads.
