The Dell OptiPlex 5070 Micro packs an eight-core i7 9700T processor running at 2.0 GHz with 12 MB L3 cache into a mini PC chassis. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in professional environments. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives two DisplayPort outputs.

Display and power check

This unit has no HDMI, VGA or DVI connectors, so older monitors will require an active adapter or a DisplayPort cable. Verify that your displays accept DisplayPort 1.2 or later signals before ordering. The included AC adapter is matched to the system by the manufacturer; no separate power supply selection is needed. Wi-Fi is not fitted, so a wired Gigabit Ethernet connection or a separate wireless card is required for network access.

Mini chassis practicality

The Micro form factor measures only a few centimetres wide, allowing it to mount behind a compatible display or tuck into tight desk spaces. A single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port sits alongside three USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports for peripherals. No optical drive is present and internal expansion is limited to the M.2 slot already occupied by the boot drive. Buyers needing additional internal storage bays or discrete graphics should consider a larger form factor.
