Storage Limits in an 8-Bay Chassis

Eight 2.5-inch hot-plug bays accept SAS or SATA media and the H730 controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Maximum supported drive capacity is 14 TB per bay. The board provides 24 DIMM slots, yet the installed processor caps usable memory at 24 GB. Four 1 GbE ports come standard on the daughter card.

Single-Processor Memory Ceiling
