Dense 1U rack server for space-constrained workloads

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a single Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 twelve-core processor running at 2.3GHz with 24 threads. It ships with 96GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed across 24 DIMM slots. The platform supports up to two processors and a maximum of 3TB total memory for virtualisation or database tasks.

Hot-swap power and eight SFF drive bays

Two 500W redundant hot-swap power supplies keep the system running during a module failure. The front panel provides eight 2.5-inch SAS bays, currently populated with two 1TB 7.2K drives. The Smart HBA H240ar controller handles 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA links with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

No operating system and basic graphics only

The server arrives without an OS, so the buyer must supply a licensed hypervisor or server operating system. Video output relies on the integrated Matrox G200 chipset, which is intended for remote management consoles rather than local graphical work. Additional media bay or two extra SFF bays are optional and not included.
