The Smart Array P440ar controller with SAS expander manages up to twelve SATA drives, so storage throughput scales with the bay count rather than the memory ceiling.

Dual 800W Hot-Plug Power And iLO

Redundant 800W Flex Slot power supplies keep the server running during a module swap or failure. HPE iLO Advanced gives remote console, power control and firmware management over a dedicated network port. The chassis includes an Intel I350/X540 card delivering two 10GbE and two 1GbE links, so no extra NIC is required for high-speed fabric connectivity. Rail kits are available separately for rack mounting.
