RS232-to-RJ45 industrial gateway

The LORDWORLD module converts RS232 serial data to Ethernet for industrial environments. It functions as a serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway and RS232-to-JSON converter. Engineers building IoT edge nodes, safety systems or instrument-monitoring networks use it to connect legacy serial equipment to IP networks.

Optional PoE and screw-terminal power

The board includes an RJ45 port with optional Power-over-Ethernet, removing the need for a separate supply when PoE infrastructure exists. Screw terminals accept external power where PoE is unavailable. Both options simplify cabinet wiring and reduce cable count in DIN-rail enclosures.

DIN-rail mount, compact footprint

The rail-mount case clips onto standard DIN rails and occupies minimal panel space. Installation requires only a screwdriver for the screw terminals and a network cable. Common issues are incorrect RS232 wiring polarity and mismatched baud-rate settings between the serial device and the gateway configuration.
