Industrial USB to RS485 Converter

This industrial-grade isolated converter uses an original FT232RNL chip to translate USB signals into balanced differential RS485 data. It targets engineers and integrators building reliable serial links for automation, instrumentation or remote sensor networks.

300 to 512000 bps with 1.2 km reach

The link runs reliably from 300 bps up to 512000 bps and covers about 1.2 km on the RS485 side while the USB connection stays within 5 metres. It handles multi-drop buses and long cable runs but is not suited for high-throughput streaming or gigabit-class applications.

Isolation and protection built in

Onboard lightning-proof tubes, resettable fuses, ESD and TVS circuits shield both sides from transients. Three status LEDs show power, transmit and receive activity so you can verify the link at a glance.
