Capacity and compatibility

This 384GB kit contains twelve 32GB DDR5 modules built for the ASUS RS520A-E12-RS12U single-socket 2U server. Each module is a 288-pin ECC registered DIMM running at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency at 1.10V. The 1Rx4 organisation and on-die ECC provide the data integrity required for mission-critical workloads.

Sustained load behaviour

Modules are stress tested under load to verify stability during extended server operations. The registered buffer reduces electrical loading on the memory controller, helping maintain consistent throughput when all twelve slots are populated. Operation at the standard 1.10V keeps power draw predictable inside the 2U chassis thermal envelope.

Upgrade scope and fit

This kit replaces lower-capacity DDR5 RDIMM sets or fills empty slots to reach the platform maximum. The jump is worthwhile when virtualisation density, in-memory databases or large dataset processing demand the full 384GB. It is not suited for workstations or consumer boards that accept only unbuffered memory.
