Server Memory Kit

This OWC kit supplies 1024GB of DDR4 ECC LRDIMM memory across eight 128GB modules. It is built for Cisco UCS B200 M6, C125 M5, C220 M6, C240 M6 and C245 M6 servers that require load-reduced registered DIMMs. The kit is not compatible with standard desktop platforms or with unbuffered and standard registered ECC memory.

Installation Notes

Each 288-pin module installs in the server DIMM slots without tools. The load-reduced design reduces electrical load on the memory bus, but the modules must not be mixed with unbuffered or standard registered ECC DIMMs. Backward compatibility covers 2133, 2400, 2666 and 2933 MHz bus speeds if the platform requires a lower frequency.

Capacity and Limits

The 1024GB total capacity suits memory-intensive virtualization, database and analytics workloads on the listed Cisco UCS models. The 4Rx4 organization and CL22 latency at 3200 MHz provide high density within the platform's qualified memory population rules. Workloads that exceed the server's maximum supported memory per socket or per chassis will require a higher-capacity platform.
