512 GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM kit for HP ProLiant Gen10

This 512 GB kit contains eight 64 GB DDR4 2933 CL21 registered ECC RDIMMs built for HP ProLiant DL560 Gen10, DL580 Gen10, DX360 Gen10, DX380 Gen10 and DX560 Gen10 servers. They are not compatible with standard desktop systems or with unbuffered and load-reduced memory types.

Straightforward installation if population rules

Each 288-pin RDIMM seats in the standard DDR4 server slots and the kit is a direct replacement for the listed HP part numbers. The registered buffer adds a slight electrical load, so the memory controller must support registered DIMMs; mixing with unbuffered or load-reduced modules will prevent the system from posting. No heat spreaders are present, so airflow across the DIMM rows must be adequate. Backward compatibility with 2133, 2400 and 2666 MHz bus speeds allows use in slower configurations without manual down-clocking.

Eight 64 GB modules fill a full population

The kit delivers 512 GB total, which suits workloads that benefit from large memory footprints such as dense VM hosting or SAP HANA nodes. Headroom ends when the platform's maximum supported capacity or memory-channel limit is reached; the eight modules occupy every available slot on many two-socket configurations. Workloads requiring more than 512 GB or higher memory bandwidth per core will outgrow this kit.
