Server memory module

This OWC module is a single 64GB DDR4 2933 ECC Load Reduced DIMM built for Fujitsu PRIMERGY CX2550 M5, CX2560 M5, RX2530 M5, RX2540 M5 and RX4770 M5 servers. It runs at PC4-23400 with CL21 latency and 1.2V operation. The 4Rx4 288-pin design targets data-centre workloads that require high capacity per slot. It replaces several Fujitsu part numbers including S26361F4083E464 and S26361F4083L964.

Compatibility check

Verify that your system uses DDR4 ECC Load Reduced memory; this module will not work in standard desktops or with unbuffered or ECC Registered DIMMs. Confirm the server model matches the supported PRIMERGY list and that the memory controller accepts 4Rx4 modules at 2933MHz. The module is backward compatible with 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz bus speeds, but mixing ranks or ECC types is not supported. No heat spreader is fitted, so ensure chassis airflow meets the platform requirements.

Thermals and power

Operating at 1.2V keeps power draw low for a 64GB Load Reduced module. Without a heat spreader the DRAM relies on directed server airflow; typical inlet temperatures in supported PRIMERGY chassis keep the module within JEDEC thermal limits. Acoustic impact is negligible because the DIMM has no moving parts and adds no fan load. Power consumption scales with population density, so fully populated channels will increase total system draw proportionally.
