The Synology RS3626xs is a 2U 12-bay rackmount NAS delivered fully assembled with twelve 16 TB SATA drives for 192 TB raw capacity. A 6-core Xeon D-1726 processor and 48 GB DDR4 ECC memory provide the compute headroom for virtualization, surveillance and multi-site collaboration workloads.

Integration and expandability

Two 10GbE RJ-45 ports support link aggregation and failover while two PCIe Gen 4 x8 slots accept additional network adapters or SSD caching hardware. Dual redundant power supplies connect via the included C13 to C14 cords to protect service availability from a single supply failure.

Sustained-load behaviour

Synology reports sequential throughput exceeding 6 300 MB/s read and 3 700 MB/s write under its test conditions. The 1.6 TB enterprise cache (2 x 800 GB) absorbs write bursts and accelerates random I/O during extended backup, replication or virtual-machine operations.
