8 TB SAS storage with RAID flexibility

Two 4 TB 3.5-inch 7.2K SAS drives provide 8 TB of raw capacity, connected through the Smart HBA H240ar controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The 12-bay LFF chassis offers headroom for additional drives, while the controller handles both 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA devices. Installed memory is limited to 4 GB, so memory-intensive applications will require immediate DIMM upgrades.

Redundant power and open OS choice

Dual hot-swap 500 W power supplies deliver redundancy for continuous operation. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics controller provides basic video output for management tasks. No operating system is included, leaving the software stack entirely to the deployer. The server uses DDR4 memory exclusively and does not support other DDR generations.
