USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps Interface Limits

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 link tops out at 10Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 hosts. Each drive runs on its own SATA III channel, so aggregate throughput cannot exceed the single 10Gbps upstream pipe. The extra Type-C expansion port supports daisy-chaining additional enclosures, but total bandwidth remains shared across the chain.
