Four-Bay 3.5-Inch SATA Enclosure
This enclosure holds up to four 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or SSDs and connects through a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. It is aimed at users who need high-capacity external storage without configuring RAID arrays. Compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux systems, it ships with both USB-C and USB-A cables plus a 12V/7A power supply.
USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps Interface Limits
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 link tops out at 10Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 hosts. Each drive runs on its own SATA III channel, so aggregate throughput cannot exceed the single 10Gbps upstream pipe. The extra Type-C expansion port supports daisy-chaining additional enclosures, but total bandwidth remains shared across the chain.
Tool-Less Drive Installation
Drives slide into the four bays and are secured with the included screws and screwdriver; no RAID configuration is required. Independent power switches let you spin individual drives up or down. The aluminium shell and dual temperature-controlled fans handle cooling, while the detachable handle aids transport. Ensure the host port supplies sufficient current for all attached drives.
