It targets data-centre operators who need high-capacity flash for read-intensive workloads such as content delivery, analytics and warm-tier storage. The drive uses 192-layer QLC 3D NAND and connects through a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface. It is not suited for write-heavy applications that demand higher endurance.

Build integration

The E3.S 7.5mm form factor fits hot-plug bays designed for the E3.S standard, freeing the 2.5-inch or U.2 slots that older drives occupy.
