M.2 M+B Key Enclosure
The ADATA EC700G enclosure converts an internal M.2 PCIe or SATA SSD into an external USB-C drive. It accepts 2280, 2242 and 2230 form factors and delivers up to 10 Gbps bandwidth via USB 3.2 Gen 2. Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux and Android devices.
Tool-free installation
Installation follows a simple three-step process: open the case, insert the M.2 drive and secure it with the included thermal pad, then close the cover. Both USB-C to C and USB-C to A cables are supplied for broad host compatibility. No drivers are required on supported operating systems.
10 Gbps headroom
With a PCIe or SATA SSD installed, the enclosure can reach sequential speeds up to 1000 MB/s, roughly 12.5 times faster than ordinary external hard drives. A 10 GB file transfers in about 20 seconds. Performance is limited by the drive's own maximum throughput and the host port's generation.
