A hexa-core 1.3 GHz processor and 2 GB of memory run the closed operating system, providing a personal cloud and automated backup for computers and mobile devices without subscription fees.

Replacing a direct-attached USB drive or a 1 GbE NAS adds native 2.5 GbE connectivity and up to seven times the throughput of the LS200 series. The jump is worthwhile when multiple users need simultaneous access or when large media libraries must stream to DLNA devices across the network.
