With 512 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across 16 modules, it targets databases, virtualization clusters and analytics that demand high core counts and large memory capacity in a 3U rack form factor.

SAS storage and networking limits

Eight 1.2 TB 10K SAS drives connect through a PERC H730P controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The controller provides 12 Gb/s SAS and SATA links, but the chassis only accepts 2.5-inch drives. Networking uses a quad-port daughter card with two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ connections; no additional onboard ports are present.
