Five-port USB 3.2 expansion card
The ESTONE PCIE23A2C3.2 adds two USB Type-C and three USB Type-A ports to a desktop through a single PCI Express slot. It is aimed at users who need more high-speed connections for external drives, cameras, VR headsets or other USB peripherals without replacing the motherboard.
PCIe 2.0 x1 lane limits total throughput
The card operates on a PCI Express 2.0 x1 link, so the combined 10 Gbps rating is shared across all five ports and cannot exceed the lane's maximum bandwidth. Actual transfer speeds will also be limited by the connected device and its own USB standard.
Driver installation required for older Windows
Windows 10, 11, Mac OS 10.8.2 and later, and Linux work without extra drivers, but Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Server 2008 need the supplied Renesas or VLI driver from the included CD. A free x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot is required; the bracket fits standard full-height cases.
