The GIGABYTE H262-Z61 is a 2U rackmount barebone that fits four independent dual-socket nodes into a single chassis. Each node accepts two AMD EPYC processors on Socket SP3, targeting workloads that demand high compute density such as big-data analytics, HPC clusters and cloud infrastructure. The system arrives without CPUs, memory or storage installed.
Before ordering, confirm that your rack can supply sufficient power and airflow for four dual-processor nodes in a 2U space. Each node supports EPYC 7001 and 7002 series CPUs with a maximum TDP of 155 W; note that installing an M.2 device on a node reduces that CPU TDP ceiling. You must also source a compatible SAS controller card if you plan to use SAS drives in the hot-swap bays.
The bundle provides an Aspeed AST2500 BMC with a browser-based GUI, HTML5 iKVM remote console and Redfish RESTful API for third-party integration. Per node you gain two low-profile PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, one OCP 2.0 mezzanine slot with PCIe 3.0 x16 bandwidth and four dedicated 1 GbE management ports plus a global CMC port. Twenty-four 2.5-inch SATA/SAS hot-swap bays and dual M.2 slots per node complete the on-board expansion.

The 2U 4-node chassis includes the Aspeed AST2500 GPU/VPU, Intel I350-AM2 LAN per node, 24 hot-swap 2.5" SATA/SAS bays, M.2 slots, PCIe slots and OCP mezzanine. CPUs, DDR4 memory, storage drives and SAS controller cards are not installed and must be bought separately.
The system supports AMD EPYC 7001, 7002 and 7003 series processors in Socket SP3. Each node accepts up to two CPUs with a 155 W TDP limit when M.2 devices are used.
Each of the four nodes provides six 2.5" hot-swappable bays for SATA or SAS SSDs and HDDs, giving 24 bays total. SAS drives require a separately purchased SAS controller card.
