The B140i controller provides software RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for SATA drives only.

96GB DDR4 maximum with one CPU

The single installed Xeon E5-2643 v3 limits total system memory to 96GB across the 12 DIMM slots assigned to that processor. Adding a second processor would unlock the remaining 12 slots and raise the ceiling toward the platform maximum. DDR4 ECC registered modules up to 2400MT/s are the only supported memory type.
