The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack-mount server built for dense compute workloads. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 processor providing 12 cores at 2.3GHz and 4GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. The chassis supports a second processor and up to 24 DIMM slots for future expansion.

H240ar controller with dual 600GB SAS drives

The integrated Smart HBA H240ar controller delivers 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA connectivity with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Two 3.5-inch 600GB 15K SAS drives are pre-installed in the four available LFF bays, leaving two bays open for additional capacity. Redundant 500W hot-swap power supplies maintain uptime during a module failure.

Four LFF drive bays limit internal storage

Only four large-form-factor bays are present, so total raw capacity is constrained by 3.5-inch drive sizes. Buyers needing more than four drives or 2.5-inch density must choose a different chassis. No operating system is included, and the Matrox G200 graphics provide only basic console output.
