Four drives in one bay

The ICY DOCK MB344SP adapter fits four 2.5 inch SATA hard drives or solid-state drives into a single external 5.25 inch drive bay. It accepts drives measuring 7mm to 9.5mm in height. The open frame design allows passive airflow across all installed drives. The unit can also serve as a stackable drive organising rack outside a chassis.

Tool-less install with stabiliser

Each drive slides into the tray and locks without screws using the tool-less mechanism. An advanced drive stabiliser system holds every drive firmly to prevent vibration or accidental ejection. The tray mounts into the 5.25 inch bay with the included screws. No special tools or drive caddies are required for the installation.

Check bay height and drive thickness

Verify that your chassis provides a standard external 5.25 inch half-height bay opening. Confirm that each 2.5 inch SATA drive you plan to install measures between 7mm and 9.5mm thick. Drives outside this height range will not fit the stabiliser slots. Ensure you have four SATA data and power cables long enough to reach the bay location.
