Four-port USB HUB HAT for Raspberry Pi

This HAT adds four USB ports to a Raspberry Pi board and supports USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. An onboard USB-to-UART converter provides a serial console for debugging. Multi-colour indicators show the status of power, the UART link and each individual USB port. The board fits Zero, Zero W and Zero WH form factors.

Sustained multi-device operation

The hub maintains USB 2.0 signalling across all four ports during continuous data transfers. The UART channel remains active for logging or kernel debugging while the USB ports handle peripherals. Indicator LEDs give immediate visual feedback on link health without host software queries. No active cooling is required for typical workloads.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The HAT draws power from the Raspberry Pi GPIO header and distributes it to the downstream ports. Passive components run cool under normal hub and UART loads. There are no moving parts, so acoustic output is zero. Total consumption scales with the attached USB devices rather than the HAT itself.

Jautājumi par šo preci

Does the HAT add noticeable heat or power draw when all four USB 2.0 ports run all day?

The HAT draws only the power each attached USB 2.0 device needs; it has no active cooling and the onboard indicators show port power status.

What Raspberry Pi model and header must I already own for this HAT to work?

It fits directly on any Raspberry Pi with a standard 40-pin GPIO header, including Zero, Zero W and Zero WH boards.

Will the onboard USB-to-UART debug link still function if I keep an older USB 1.1 peripheral plugged in?

Yes, the UART channel and all four USB ports operate independently, so USB 1.1 devices do not block serial debugging.
