The LR-LINK LRES2201PT is a single-port copper Gigabit Ethernet network adapter built on the Intel 82574 controller. It connects through a Mini PCI Express slot and provides one RJ45 connector with thickened gold plating for reliable links. The card supports 10/100/1000Mbps speeds, 9 KB jumbo frames, PXE boot and flow control. It ships with both low-profile and full-height brackets for flexible mounting in industrial PCs or single-board computers. Operating range is 0°C to 55°C with 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity.

Upgrade From Onboard Or Missing Port

This adapter adds a wired Gigabit connection to systems that lack an Ethernet port or need a replacement for a failed onboard controller. The Mini PCIe interface suits compact industrial equipment where space is limited and standard PCIe cards will not fit. The jump is worth it when a device requires a stable copper link for data transfer, network boot via PXE, or deterministic throughput without relying on wireless. The card installs into any available Mini PCIe slot and draws power directly from the bus. No external power cable is required. Driver support spans Windows XP through 10 and Server 2003 through 2016, plus Linux kernels 2.4.x and later, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and later, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 and later, VMware ESX/ESXi 4.x through 6.x, and FreeBSD 9 and later. The included brackets let the RJ45 port align with either low-profile or standard chassis cut-outs, freeing the builder from sourcing a separate bracket.
