Transparent mSATA Enclosure with 5 Gbps USB 3.0

The Orico TC10 is a transparent enclosure that converts a 30 by 50 millimetre mSATA SSD into an external USB drive. It uses a high-speed chip that supports UASP and TRIM for up to 5 Gbps throughput. A combined USB-C to C and USB-C to A cable is included for immediate connection to most hosts.

For reviving laptop SSDs; not for 2.5 inch drives

Builders who have a spare mSATA module from an old notebook can install it tool-free and gain portable storage. The enclosure accepts only the 30 by 50 millimetre form factor, so 2.5 inch SATA drives or larger M.2 modules cannot be used. Automatic sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity helps preserve the SSD.
