8GB DDR3L ECC Registered RDIMM

This OWC module delivers 8GB of DDR3L memory at 1600MHz with CL11 latency and 1.35V operation. It uses a 240-pin registered DIMM form factor with 1Rx4 organisation and ECC error correction. The part replaces Dell part numbers A7134886, A7545680, RKR5J and SNPRKR5JC/8G.

Workstation and server upgrades only

The memory is built for Dell Precision R7610, T3600, T3610, T5600 and T5610 systems that require registered ECC modules. It will not work in standard desktop computers or any platform that accepts only unbuffered memory. Mixing this module with unbuffered DIMMs is not supported.

Registered ECC with 1Rx4 organisation

The single decisive specification is that this is an ECC registered RDIMM with a 1Rx4 rank configuration. Your system must explicitly support registered ECC DDR3L in this organisation; unbuffered or non-ECC platforms cannot use it.
