The Solidigm D7-P5810 is a 3.2TB U.2 15mm drive built with SLC memory for data-centre and server deployments that demand sustained write endurance. It connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and carries no Opal encryption, making it suited for internal storage arrays where hardware encryption is handled elsewhere.
Fits 2.5-inch U.2 bays with PCIe 4.0 backplanes
The 15mm Z-height requires a drive bay or caddy that accepts 15mm U.2 modules and a backplane wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 signalling. Using this form factor frees standard M.2 slots for other devices and keeps the drive in a hot-swap tray for service without shutting down the chassis.
Passive cooling in directed airflow
Enterprise U.2 drives rely on chassis fans moving air across the 15mm case; no onboard fan is present. Power draw scales with the PCIe 4.0 x4 link and SLC write activity, so thermal design should provide steady airflow across the label side. Acoustic output is limited to the system fans already required for the server enclosure.
