The Supermicro MBD-M11SDV-8CT-LN4FO integrates an AMD EPYC 3201 SoC with eight cores and eight threads into a Mini ITX form factor. It targets builders who need a low-power, single-socket platform with ECC memory support and multiple network ports for storage or edge workloads.
The processor runs at a 30 W TDP, allowing passive or low-airflow cooling in compact chassis. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots accept up to 512 GB of ECC registered memory at 2133 MHz in dual-channel mode, providing data integrity without active DIMM cooling.
A dedicated Realtek RTL8211E port gives out-of-band management via the ASPEED AST2500 BMC. The M-key M.2 slot carries a PCI-E 3.0 x4 link for 2280 storage, while four SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports and two USB 3.0 headers handle additional drives and peripherals.
