Five Internal SATA III Ports
The Vantec UGT-ST655 adds five internal SATA III 6Gbps ports through a single PCIe x4 slot. It connects SSDs, HDDs and optical drives simultaneously. No drivers are required for Windows 11, 10, 8 or 7, and Linux is also supported. Standard and low-profile brackets are included in the box.
Suits Builders Needing Extra Drive Bays
This card suits desktop builders who have run out of motherboard SATA headers and own a free PCIe x4 slot. It does not suit systems that lack a PCIe x4 lane, nor buyers who need external eSATA connectors. SATA cables are not included, so purchasers must supply their own.
