This bundle pairs the TUF GAMING Z790-BTF WIFI motherboard with an Intel Ultra 5 245K processor and a tube of Shin-Etsu X-23-7868-2D thermal grease. The board uses the LGA 1700 socket and is built around the Intel Z790 chipset. It targets builders who want a single package that covers the platform, the CPU and the paste.

Interface limits

The platform delivers PCIe 5.0 on the primary x16 SafeSlot and four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, each with a heatsink. Memory tops out at DDR5 7200+(OC) across four DIMMs via OptiMem II. Networking includes WiFi7 and Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, while the rear I/O moves to a back-panel connector layout that only works with compatible BTF cases and graphics cards.

Build practicalities

Power runs through a 16+1+1 phase 60 A DrMOS VRM cooled by large heatsinks and fed by dual ProCool 8+8-pin connectors. The CPU runs at 125 W with 24 MB L3 and 26 MB L2 cache but ships without a cooler, so a separate solution is required. The included grease rates 6.2 W/m·k conductivity and 0.07 °C·cm²/W resistance. DIY aids such as a Q-Release button, M.2 Q-Latch, pre-mounted I/O shield and three Gen2 ARGB headers with Aura Sync reduce assembly friction.
