Front-panel I/O for 5.25-inch bays
This AUTENS panel fits a standard 5.25-inch drive bay and adds front-access ports to a desktop chassis. It provides a five-slot card reader for SD, CF, TF, M2 and MMC/MS media, one eSATA port, one SATA port, two USB 3.0 ports, six USB 2.0 ports, plus speaker and microphone jacks, all powered through a 4-pin connector.
Suits builders adding legacy I/O to older towers.
The panel targets system integrators and enthusiasts who want front access to SD, CF, TF, M2 and MMC/MS cards plus eSATA and SATA connectivity on machines running Windows 98 through Vista, 7, 8, Mac OS 9 or 10, or Linux 11. It lacks USB Type-C ports, so users requiring that interface should look elsewhere.
eSATA and SATA ports with 5.0 Gbps USB 3.0 hub
The single eSATA port runs at up to 3.0 Gbps while the SATA port supplies 12 V and 5 V power to a drive. Two USB 3.0 hub ports deliver up to 5.0 Gbps and are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 through a built-in PCI-E interface.

Soalan tentang produk ini
My motherboard only has a spare PCI-E slot — will that be enough to run the two USB 3.0 ports at 5.0Gbps?
Yes, the built-in PCI-E interface powers both USB 3.0 ports up to 5.0Gbps without needing a separate USB 3.0 PCI-E card.
I still use USB 2.0 and 1.1 peripherals — will they work with the hub?
The hub is downward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, so older devices will function normally.
After fitting the panel into a 5.25" bay, how can I confirm the card reader is active?
Insert an SD, CF, TF, M2 or MMC/MS card; the operating system should recognise it immediately across Win98/7/8/Me/2000/XP/Vista, Mac 9.X/10.X or Linux 11.
