Each CPU provides 20 cores for a total of 40 cores in the system. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory installed across four 16 GB modules. Chassis and memory planning

This blade requires an available half-height slot in a compatible Dell PowerEdge MX or M1000e enclosure with sufficient power and cooling budget. Memory capacity can be expanded to 2 TB using the 16 available DDR4 slots; verify that any additional modules are registered ECC DDR4 to match the installed configuration. The front bezel and ready rails are not included with this unit.

The integrated Dell PERC S140 controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for the two 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drive bays; no drives are installed. A Broadcom 57810S-K dual-port 10 Gb blade network daughter card handles high-speed connectivity through the chassis midplane. Remote management is covered by iDRAC 9 Enterprise for out-of-band monitoring and control. The Matrox G200 graphics core with 8 MB video memory provides basic console output.
