Dual Xeon Silver 4210 compute platform

The HPE ProLiant DL160 Gen10 arrives as a 2U rack server populated with two Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processors running at 2.2 GHz. Ten cores per socket deliver twenty threads for parallel workloads such as virtualisation, database serving or high-performance computing. The system ships with 768 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed across the available DIMM slots.

Redundant 500 W power supplies and iLO management

Two 500 W Flex Slot power supplies provide N+1 redundancy while the integrated iLO Advanced remote-management engine enables out-of-band monitoring and firmware updates. The Smart Array P408 SAS controller manages up to eight 2.5-inch SATA drive bays without adding a separate RAID card. Integrated Intel I350 and X540 network adapters supply two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE ports for flexible connectivity.

Eight-bay chassis ready for storage expansion

The 8SFF front panel accepts up to eight 2.5-inch SATA drives, leaving the internal PCIe slots free for additional controllers or accelerators. A rail kit can be supplied on request to simplify rack installation. The platform supports a maximum of 2 TB DDR4 memory, so future capacity upgrades only require populating empty DIMM sockets rather than replacing modules.
