Compact 1U rack server for virtualised workloads

The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 fits a standard 1U rack slot and ships with dual Xeon 6430 processors, each offering 32 cores at 2.1 GHz with up to 3.40 GHz turbo. It is aimed at organisations that run databases and virtualisation platforms and need dense compute in a small footprint. Buyers who require GPU acceleration or larger local storage bays will need a different chassis.

Dual processors, DDR5 memory and hot-swap power

Two Xeon 6430 CPUs provide 64 total cores and 60 MB cache each. The board accepts 16 DDR5-4800 ECC buffered modules to reach 1 TB capacity. Eight 2.5-inch SATA SSDs deliver 30.72 TB of enterprise storage through an MR408i-o Gen11 controller with 4 GB cache. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies and an embedded four-port 1GbE OCP3 adapter keep the system running during maintenance. Memory and drives arrive separately and must be installed before use.

Sustained throughput with remote oversight

Under continuous load the dual 32-core configuration maintains high thread counts for database and virtualisation tasks. The storage controller and SATA SSD array supply steady read and write bandwidth for persistent workloads. Integrated Lights-Out 6 with Intelligent Provisioning enables remote monitoring, firmware updates and power control without physical access, helping administrators keep the server available over long periods.
