Purpose & Fit

This 180 W ATX power supply uses a proprietary 14-pin connector designed for specific OEM systems such as the M82, 4550, E31, H3050 and Q77 platforms. It replaces the FSP180-30SBV, PS-3181-02, PCE008 and PCB020 units directly. Buyers who need a standard 24-pin ATX connector or higher wattage for discrete graphics cannot use this unit.

Sustained-Load Behaviour

The 80 PLUS Gold rating ensures high efficiency during continuous operation, reducing waste heat and keeping internal temperatures lower. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers stable voltages under load while suppressing coil whine. At low and medium loads the fan stops completely thanks to Zero RPM mode, so sustained background tasks remain near-silent.

Upgrade Context

This unit supersedes the original 180 W OEM power supplies listed in the compatible model numbers, restoring Modern Standby support for fast wake-from-sleep and improved low-load efficiency. The jump is worthwhile when the existing supply shows voltage drift, fan noise or failure to enter low-power sleep states. It is not a capacity increase for systems that demand more than 180 W.
