The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor running at 3.20 GHz with a 4.60 GHz turbo boost. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 1 TB SSD for data, plus Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

SFF chassis with dual-drive layout

The black SFF case uses a 240-pin DIMM form factor and supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory across its slots. Storage is arranged as a dual-drive configuration with the OS on the M.2 drive and a second 1 TB SSD for additional capacity. A DVD-ROM drive provides legacy media access, while a USB wireless dongle adds 5 GHz-capable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives display outputs.

65 W processor in a compact frame

The Core i7-8700 operates at a 65 W thermal design power, which the SFF cooling system manages under typical office workloads. Fan noise remains low during everyday productivity tasks such as document editing, web browsing and video playback. The compact internal volume limits future graphics upgrades, so buyers who need a discrete GPU or more than two internal drives should consider a larger tower chassis.
