The Logitech M310 in Peacock Blue is a full-size RF wireless mouse shaped for either hand. It connects through a 2.4 GHz nano-receiver that plugs into a USB port and stays there. The optical sensor runs at 1000 dpi and works on Windows Vista through Windows 10, macOS 10.4 or later and Chrome OS. The mouse is certified Works With Chromebook and contains 64 percent post-consumer recycled plastic.

Battery life and wireless range

A single AA battery powers the mouse for up to 12 months in the supplier estimate and up to 18 months in the manufacturer highlight. The 2.4 GHz link remains stable to approximately 33 feet from the receiver. There is no charging cable or dock; the battery is user-replaceable and one is included in the box. Power draw is low enough that the mouse does not require a dedicated USB power budget.

Nano-receiver and documentation

The plug-and-forget nano-receiver stores inside the mouse when not in use and works without driver installation on supported systems. The package also includes a printed user documentation leaflet. No configuration software is bundled and no additional accessories such as spare feet or a carrying pouch are supplied. The carbon footprint is stated as 4.42 kg CO2e.
