The LORDWORLD development board uses the RP2040 chip designed in the United Kingdom. It has a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor with a flexible clock up to 133 MHz. The board provides 264KB of SRAM and 2MB of on-board Flash memory. It is suited for makers and engineers building IoT edge devices.
Drag-and-drop programming over USB 1.1 lets you load code without a separate debugger. The castellated module design allows direct soldering to carrier boards for compact integration. Accelerated floating-point libraries on-chip speed up math-heavy tasks. Low-power sleep and dormant modes help extend battery life in portable applications.
The board exposes 26 multi-function GPIO pins supporting 2 SPI, 2 I2C, 2 UART, 3 12-bit ADC channels and 16 controllable PWM channels. Eight programmable I/O state machines enable custom peripheral interfaces. This I/O count handles sensor arrays, motor control and communication buses simultaneously. Projects needing more than 26 pins or higher-speed USB will require a different platform.
